For the First, and hopefully the Last, time the Choir held it’s annual Christmas Party on Zoom. MD Dorian hosted 2 hours of entertainment delivered live from members homes. Christmas Re-Imagined with an ‘audience’ exceeding 80 Zoom sessions!
It is a cliche that adversity brings out the best in people but Saturday night was a perfect example. We had comedy, classic carols, pub favourites and poignant reminders of past performances from members Pete Kennedy and Edward Turner, sadly no longer with us but always remembered.
We also had the World Premier of the Choir Christmas Song, Stop the Cavalry, now available on Youtube. Thanks to Dorian for his electronic wizadry.
The evening raised a staggering £500+ for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. A big thanks to all who donated.
