'Sing Your Rocks Off' with New Mill MVC and Roger Davies
Charity Concert for Spinal Research
King's Hall, Ilkley - Sat. April 14, 2018 7:15 pm
Ged Faricy sang with New Mill for more than 20 years. When he moved to Ilkley he founded ‘Sing Your Rocks Off’, an all male group who ‘just sang for fun in a pub’. Three years later and things, inevitably, have moved on and Ged now has a Choir on his hands!
After meeting the inspirational Rob Shelton, who suffers from spinal injury and is now an active trustee of the Spinal Research charity, Ged asked if the Choir would be willing to come to Ilkley and sing with his guys in a charity event. ‘Of Course’ was the response and this concert is the result.
Also appearing will be Roger Davies, Yorkshire’s very own Singer/Songwriter, and good friend of Ged.
All proceeds from the concert will be donated to Spinal Research
